Tusitala “Tiny” Toese, a leader of the Proud Boys, was shot in the foot about a mile from the Washington Capitol on September 4. There are conflicting reports about who shot him. Toes
was transported to a nearby hospital; the injuries were not life threatening. The Proud Boys are referred to as a hate group by the Southern Poverty Law Center. The group is general
seen in Portland, Oregon, and was allegedly in Olympia to attend a Mandate protest scheduled for that afternoon. The full story and more photos can be found in Real Change on September 15th.
