At the very least Three folks have been injured in office shootings on the SmileDirectClub in Antioch, Tennessee

At least three people were injured, including one seriously, after an armed man opened fire on a SmileDirectClub in Tennessee, authorities said Tuesday.

The shooting occurred around 6 a.m. in Block 1500 of Antioch Pike in Antioch, according to the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department. The three victims identified as employees were taken to hospital. One of them was listed in critical condition.

3 employees were shot dead by the shooter in the Smile Direct Club. They are all hospitalized. At least one is in critical condition. It currently appears that Sagittarius acted alone.

The alleged gunman was identified as Antonio D. King, 22, who died after being shot by police officers and taken to the hospital, police spokesman Don Aaron said, according to The Tennessean.

While authorities did not publish a motive for the shooting, they said King was an employee who had at least two stints with SmileDirectClub, including one in June. According to the police, he also worked for the company from late 2019 to early 2020.

SmileDirectClub told NBC News Tuesday that the company was working with police to investigate the shooting.

“SmileDirectClub is saddened by the incident that happened this morning at its production facilities. The incident was quickly contained by on-site security personnel, “the company said in a statement.” The safety of our team members is a top priority for our company and we adhere to strict security protocols.

SmileDirectClub is a start-up based in Nashville.
