“Cash Heist” Korean adaptation star Jeon Jong Web optimization talks about her function as Tokyo and her critically acclaimed movie “The Name”

Jeon Jong Seo shares her thoughts on winning the Baeksang Arts Awards in 2021 and starring in the Korean remake “Money Heist” when she graced the cover of Dazed magazine.

The 27-year-old young actress shows her boyish charm in the August issue of the magazine.

From innocent to gangster, she managed to change her appearance by donning the 90s hair trend also known as bubble braid.

Jeon Jong Seo on her critically acclaimed film “The Call”

While chatting with the Dazed magazine team, Jeon Jong Seo gets honest as she talks about her winning moment at the 2021 Baeksang Arts Awards.

The 27-year-old beauty received her first award when she won the Best Actress category in the film at the prestigious ceremony for her mystery horror film “The Call”.

In her latest appearance on the release, the up-and-coming actress shares her thoughts on being the “change” as the next generation actress.

As a reminder, the 2020 film, in which she starred alongside Hallyu queen Park Shin Hye, wasn’t released through traditional film distribution methods, but rather through OTT services like Netflix.

Admitting that she had doubts about audiences wanting to see the film on a different platform, she added, “I was half in doubt, but the fact that you acknowledged this means we will make the change in the end accept.”

Jeon Jong Seo made her debut in 2018 as a leading actress in the thriller “Burning” by Lee Chang Dong.

This was followed by her impressive appearance as the psychopath Oh Yeong Sook in “The Call”.

Now, Jeon Jong Seo’s upcoming drama includes the highly anticipated Korean adaptation of the blockbuster series “Money Heist,” in which she will take on the role of feisty gang member Tokyo.

In the interview, the South Korean actress described her role as Tokyo and mentioned that the remake would portray a different “personality” and “character”.

“It has the same name and a completely different personality and character customization. The thieves who rob the bank are the main characters, but there are inevitable humanities in it,” she explained.

“Money Heist” is created by Álex Pina, with 21-year-old Spanish actress Úrsula Corberó as Tokyo.

As for the Korean remake, alongside Jeon Jong Seo, the cast includes Yoo Ji Tae as “The Professor,” Park Hae Soo will play the role of Berlin, Lee Won Jong as Moscow, and many more.

Interestingly, this is led by PD Kim Hong Seon and written by Ryu Yong Jae.
