Chamber wins award for communication | Native enterprise information

HICKORY – The Catawba County Chamber was named one of 12 Communications Winners by the Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives (ACCE), an Alexandria, Virginia-based association that represents more than 8,000 professionals working for and with more Award of Excellence appointed as 1,300 chambers of commerce around the world.

The ACCE Awards for Communications Excellence program, supported by Facebook, aims to present the top communication and marketing work of chambers of commerce and similar organizations. Since the start of the competition, which is already taking place for the 36th time, several thousand awards have been submitted.

“Chambers of Commerce are the storytellers and megaphones for their communities,” said Sheree Anne Kelly, President and CEO of ACCE. “Your innovative efforts to drive engagement and change in the regions in which you operate are inspiring. Creative communication that inspires action has earned them this well-deserved recognition. “

The Catawba County Chamber was named the winner of the Award of Excellence in the Digital Media category for Resilience @ Work, a video produced by BC Cinematics, LLC celebrating the incredible leadership and resilience of the business world.

“One aspect of my job that I often take for granted is the opportunity to get a bird’s eye view of our community,” said Lindsay Keisler, President and CEO of the local chamber.
