RIAD – The Department of Energy launched its new official website on Thursday in three languages: Arabic, English and Chinese. The website has been developed as part of the ministry’s ongoing efforts to meet the needs and desires of target users.
The new website reflects the ministry’s strategic goals and continued desire for effective communication. It is based on the latest standards and technology in website design to ensure the highest level of interaction with the public.
The website is in line with the ministry’s visual identity launched in January and takes energy transition issues into account by providing information on all relevant Saudi Vision 2030 programs and initiatives.
The design of the new website emphasizes simplicity and usability through an attractive visual map that enriches content in different energy areas with statistics reflected in infographics and explanatory videos, as well as a brief explanation of the ministry’s goals and messages.
Key programs and projects in the Kingdom’s energy sector include efforts to integrate the electricity sector, including the National Renewable Energy Program, to streamline energy use and efficiency.
It also addresses climate change issues, including the Circular Economy Program (CCE) promoting technology and innovation to reduce and eliminate emissions. – SPA
