Mohegan Appoints VP, Global Digital Marketing Strategy

US-based tribal casino operator Mohegan Gaming and Entertainment announced the appointment of Christie St. Martin (pictured) as vice president of online marketing on Thursday. She will “execute and lead Mohegan’s iGaming marketing strategy and help lead the company’s growing marketing team at a critical growth stage,” the company said in a press release.

Mohegan is developing a casino resort in Incheon, South Korea. The company is with the aim of opening the project in the third quarter of 2023 at the latest.

According to Thursday’s press release, Ms. Martin will be responsible for developing a creative marketing strategy to “drive guest acquisition,” manage products and lead marketing activities for digital game products.

She will report to Rich Roberts, President of Mohegan Digital, and help implement a “global strategy that supports the continuous development of the brand and drives online influence in the iGaming industry”.

In the press release, Ray Pineault, President and CEO of Mohegan, was quoted as saying the company was “confident” that Ms. Martin will “positively influence” “innovative digital expansion efforts and branding.”

“Mohegan has always been focused on bringing cutting-edge technology to our customers and a strong marketing team is key to creating an unparalleled guest experience both on property and online,” he added.

Prior to joining Mohegan, Ms. Martin was the chief content officer at the gaming lifestyle company Queens Gaming Collective.
