CHICAGO – Grubhub today announced Grubhub Direct, a platform that enables independent restaurants to better compete online with commission-free online ordering and access to their customer data. Grubhub has nearly 10 years of experience building branded orders and customer loyalty for large restaurant chains and uses its expertise to help independent restaurants develop their own bespoke ordering websites. In this way they can market directly to their guests, receive their dinner data and manage their brand website. all without marketing fees.

  • Management portal: Manage menus, hours, finances, and other restaurant settings; Access to reporting and insights into performance; and identify future growth opportunities.

Restaurants only pay standard credit card processing fees and, optionally, a highly competitive delivery fee if the restaurant has Grubhub drivers deliver for them. Tens of thousands of Grubhub restaurant partners deliver their own orders and would not pay shipping costs with Grubhub Direct.
