KCSD presents new web site | Information, sports activities, jobs
MILL HALL – The Keystone Central School District has a new website.
The website went live last week. According to a press release from KCSD, the new website has a “Fresh look and improved functionality.” The new platform is intended to help parents, students and employees to access information quickly and easily, according to the announcement.
The new website has been redesigned to be both aesthetic and user-friendly, the press release says. At first glance, it is noticeable that it looks slimmer, with scrolling photos on the homepage.
“Providing accessible and transparent communications for students, families, staff, and our community is a priority that was set out in our comprehensive plan. It is important that our website is a true reflection of our work in the district. “ said KCSD Superintendent Jacquelyn Martin.
Chad Krape, Supervisor of Technology at KCSD, was the project manager who helped the district achieve the goal.
“This updated website will provide a much more engaging interaction for our community members. We are now able to provide location-wide voice translation and a dedicated mobile application that puts Keystone news and updates in the palm of your hand. “ said Krape.
Patti Stevenson, administrative assistant for communications at KCSD, was instrumental in building the website and training the staff. “While we’re excited to introduce our new website, we’re still working on adding photos and information.” said Stevenson.
To view the new Keystone Central School District website, visit www.kcsd.us. The old website address directs visitors to the new website. The old address will no longer be updated, they say.
