Kendall Jenner turns into Inventive Director of the Luxe Trend E-Tailer FWRD – The Hollywood Reporter
It seems like almost everything the Kardashian-Jenners touch turns to gold, which is probably why FWRD has named Kendall Jenner as their new creative director.
Jenner – known for her sleek, ’90s-inspired style and ornate silhouettes – will be in charge of curating the luxury fashion e-tailer’s brands, directing the website’s design, making monthly changes, and marketing ideas, partnerships and activations to develop. The star will officially step into her role via FWRD during New York Fashion Week this month. The online retailer was originally founded by Hollywood stylist Elyse Walker (who no longer has a stake in the company) in partnership with the Revolve Group.
The title is the latest addition to the résumé of the former Keeping Up with the Kardashians star who became a top supermodel. Jenner follows in the footsteps of her entrepreneurial family and launched 818 tequila earlier this year.
In a statement, Jenner said, “I grew up with fashion and have been incredibly lucky to work with some of the most brilliant people in the business. As the Creative Director of FWRD, I am delighted to be curating the website’s offering with up-and-coming designers and brands. “

To celebrate her new post, Jenner stars in an autumn campaign shot by British photographer Glen Luchford (a regular Gucci contributor) in the star’s hometown, Los Angeles, and by Carlos Nazario (who starred with Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Naomi Campbell and Lizzo worked together) and was the first black stylist to come up with a Vogue cover).

Jenner has also picked her top picks for fall, and the 18-piece curation ($ 85- $ 3,500) includes everyday staples like ivory high-waisted knitwear from Aisling Camps and sleek green eco-leather boots from Gia Borghini to Bags from Balenciaga, Bottega Veneta and Die Reihe. The fall edition also includes a curvaceous lavender knit dress from Acne Studios and a stainless steel mesh dress from Fanni Schiavoni. (We expect to see her all on Jenner the next time she’s photographed outside of a club.)
