Les Hollander promoted to CEO of the DAX in North America | Corporations

NEW YORK – (BUSINESS WIRE) – Jan. June 2021–

Global, the media and entertainment group, today announced the appointment of Les Hollander as CEO for North America for its market-leading digital advertising platform DAX.

The move promotes Hollander from Chief Growth Officer and brings together DAX divisions in the USA and Canada under his leadership.

Matt Cutair is leaving the CEO of DAX US to take on an important advisory position at the company. Cutair has led DAX US since its inception in 2017 following the acquisition of AudioHQ by Global, where he was co-founder and CEO.

Hollander was appointed Chief Growth Officer of DAX North America in May 2020. During this time, Hollander realigned the US and Canadian markets for growth, and DAX added several brand advertisers and publishers such as NPR, Wondery and Sounder to its growing list of digital audio publishers in North America, including SoundCloud, TuneIn, AccuRadio, Audiomack and more. In his new role, Hollander will continue to report to Guy Jones, Product, Data and Digital Director for DAX based in the UK at Global.

Hollander is a veteran of digital audio advertising with over 30 years of experience. He joined DAX from Spotify in March 2020, where he was Head of Global Audio Monetization, responsible for building the company’s digital audio monetization business through direct, programmatic and automated channels. Prior to joining Spotify, Hollander was Vice President of Ad Revenue at Pandora and held senior management positions at Gannett, CBS Radio and Clear Channel Communications. Hollander also co-chaired the United States’ IAB Audio Committee from 2016 to 2020 and has served on several industry bodies including the Mobile Marketing Association throughout his career.
