Matt LeBlanc turns into an Irish Twitter meme after “Buddies: The Reunion”

Matt LeBlanc’s smiling couch pose crossed arms during “Friends: The Reunion” lets Ireland claim the star for itself.

Irish Twitter went wild the weekend after the HBO Max Reunion special was released over the weekend with the LeBlanc pic comparing the 53-year-old actor to everyone’s favorite Irish uncle.

“Every Irish family has at least one of these uncles or great-uncles – extreme salt of the earth characters, full of dry wit and just a dash of cynicism,” wrote Twitter user @ noclarity74, explaining the social media discourse about LeBlanc’s pose. “Matt looks like a typical Irish uncle in the reunion photos from his (folded) facial expressions.”

“Matt LeBlanc is Irish, I don’t want any other nation trying to claim him,” claimed Coughlan. “He’s from Tullamore, he drinks milk with his dinner.”
