Progressive Insurance announced the creation of a 8.4 acre solar panel array that will contain over 4,000 panels. The company plans to bring the new system up and running on the Mayfield Village campus this summer (construction will start on March 29). The completed project will help reduce Progressive’s CO2 emissions by 4,000 tons per year. Progressive hired three local companies – Mars Electric, YellowLite Inc. and Preformed Line Products Solar – to install, design and build the solar system.
