Scarlett Johansson and Colin Jost welcome their first youngster collectively

There’s a new addition to the Avengers.

Scarlett Johansson and Colin Jost welcomed their first child together, The “Saturday Night Live” star revealed on Wednesday.

“Okay, we had a baby. His name is Cosmo,” Jost wrote in an Instagram post. People magazine first confirmed the news, and Johansson’s rep Marcel Pariseau directed USA TODAY to Jost’s post. “We love him very much.”

Jost added that privacy was “highly valued” during this time and jokingly directed all further inquiries to his “SNL” co-star Michael Che.

Che seemed to take the joke calmly, updating his Instagram bio on Wednesday night to read “Kosmos Publicist” and sharing fan requests about the baby on his Instagram stories.

“It’s one thing to be obsessed with adult strangers that you admire,” he wrote. “But how, a baby? The oceans are dying and you write about someone’s baby? S’matta with you”

However, Che was unaware at the moment that Jost was referring to him as his child’s publicist. “he what?!” he replied to an Instagram user. “Well played jost .. well played ..”

USA TODAY has asked Jost’s representative for a comment.

The celebrity couple got engaged in May 2019 and announced their wedding in October, as revealed in a post on the Instagram page of Meals on Wheels America, a charity that provides food and resources to the elderly. The post features a picture of a Staten Island Ferry with the words “Jost Married” above the picture.

“We are delighted to announce that Scarlett Johansson and Colin Jost got married over the weekend in an intimate ceremony with their immediate family and loved ones in accordance with the CDC’s COVID-19 safety precautions,” the caption reads.
